I guess it is kinda nice to just be normal again for me.

well yeah but that's us too, and it's still not "normal"
elemental magic is nothing like bending in my world like it's nothing like dying will flames in your world
so even if we come from worlds with "magic" it doesn't really translate, does it??
i definitely don't feel like knowing firebending has given me any upperhand with fire magic here

I guess where I am in the timeline, I've just really learned how to properly use my flames.
I created an attack called the X-burner, but I can't really use it here

Oh, uh...it's an attack where I fire this beam of hard flames while supporting myself with soft flames. I haven't really gotten much of a chance to try it out though

Yeah, exactly!
And I actually came up with that one myself!
Reborn was training Yamamoto at the time.
I had to come up with stuff by myself.

uncle made up a lot of his own firebending moves
for example
he came up with a way to redirect lightning
in my world thats the most exacted form of firebending
but he came up with a way to redirect it based on a waterbending technique
no firebender would ever expect it
i bet you could learn a lot from him even if our flames are so different
he has elemental magic here too

and he seemed to empathize with you the way gokudera described what the vongola aim to do, we had a long talk about your goals and the mafia over tea.... our world doesn't have any organization like that. but uncle seemed to understand. uncle knows how to keep a secret too.
he's definitely a good person to have on your side

Who was quite pompous and sensitive about the principle of disrespect (only as he perceived it), and indeed... someone entirely unforgiving, whom one could not be oneself around. But without knowing much at all about Zuko's father, it just sounds like his uncle's a nice guy. Normal remarks — this family can only sound normal out of context, after all. ]
